Jim Pradke - Pastor

Victory Christian Church founder, Jim Pradke, has been our full-time pastor since 1993.  Jim’s passion for God’s Word is expressed through his creative teaching style and expository preaching each week.  His Christ-like compassion is felt as he visits those who are suffering, giving spiritual counsel to those who seek God’s wisdom.  He is sometimes asked to use his God-given talents to join with the worship team, playing guitar and leading the singing during our weekly Sunday services.  Pastor Jim is involved in local community ministries, such as the Bella Vita Pregnancy Resource Center, as his heart is burdened for the lives of the unborn.

He and his wife, Brenda, married in 1979.  Having relocated from Chicago, they settled in Knox, Indiana, where they have raised their seven children.  Jim is often actively involved in family activities with their many grandchildren. His days are full, yet he tries to get in a 5-mile walk whenever possible.  He’s an avid primitive camper, canoeist, and health enthusiast.  He brews espresso most mornings and makes cappuccino for visitors upon request.  He’s known by family to make the best Greek salad ever, but friends line up when he smokes salmon on the grill.  You’ll often hear him quote, “How about those Packers?”

Brandi Redweik - Youth & Children’s Ministry

Victory Christian Church is blessed to have this sweet, energetic lady join our staff. Brandi Redweik has been with Victory Christian since 2018 and has since taken the position of Children and Youth Ministry.  She is a native of Knox, where her dad was a Baptist preacher. At the age of five, Brandi came to know about Jesus. At the age of twelve, she dedicated her life to serving Christ. Brandi was lucky enough at a young age to travel across the country with her family, learning many of life's lessons along the way, as her father did missionary work of building churches in less fortunate areas of the United States.

Brandi’s family finally settled in Montana, where she lived for 6 years. It was there that she met her husband, Schindler. They have been married since 2017, moving back to Starke County in 2018. Brandi and Schindler have 3 children, all girls, so far.  

You will usually find Brandi busy with her girls, her husband, local friends, at Bible studies such as LAMBS, working with our youth of all ages, including teens, and doing all the busy work that this ministry involves.  Any questions or if you would like to meet this big-hearted young lady, feel free to contact her.

Brenda Pradke - Administrative Assistant

Brenda is the wife of our pastor, serving alongside him wherever she can be used. Since 2010 she has been running a health and wellness business from home, coaching and helping others live a healthy lifestyle. She loves people and especially children, taking time out to visit, cook for, play, or just hang out with her friends, family, and her grandchildren, as much as time allows. Brenda also enjoys being creative in the kitchen, sharing her recipes or meals with those nearby. Her hobbies include traveling both domestically and abroad and imagining that she’s a food critic. She calls herself a “foodie” as she’s always looking for new places to eat that broaden her food experiences. Administrative work is something she enjoys doing, having many years of experience, she’s quite an asset to our VCC office.
